Take no blame Sullivan, Gold and Brady

Club Statement on official site claiming that they were isolated incidents today and will not be tolerated, it will be investigated fully and the fans involved will be banned from attending any future West Ham match

You taking the piss you cunts, you employed a security firm that antagonised supporters that actually at the start of the game were almost all sitting, they then charge down the steps as one fan sings bubbles back at STANDING away fans and tells him enjoy your last game as taking your seat number and reporting you, it was you dumb Arse decision that caused today's trouble and your plastic shithole stadium that has no safety procedures in place whatsoever and no segregation

Where is the family stand?? There were children in tears today and scared out of there wits and its your fault, you want 66,000 I. That place so you can make even quicker money, you have sold us down the river so do not blame the fans

same for us Tom.

The owners want to expand it to 66k if I understand correctly.

Etihad was 48k when they moved into it, now 55k and they are expanding to 61k. It was more gradual with City's move.

"In fact neutral commentators are already saying this in the media - I saw Cascarino wrote something along these lines in his Sunday column."

What you mean the ex-Millwall player? Yeah I'm sure he's neutral.

I don't think the ground will stay 'sold-out' however neither do I think it will be half empty. The allocation of cheap tickets for Premiership games will attract more people who couldn't consider going before as well as tourists and day trippers. London is full of them thanks to the falling pound.

Biggest problem they have is stopping the violence and sorting out the ticketing.
We have players worth the entrance money just to watch them - whether we can keep them unless performances improve is a different story.

The owners are too old and not competent enough to run a club of our size.

That classless trash column horrible spiteful cow Brady knows absolutely nothing about football or identify with our supporters and she needs to be replaced.

Re: Take no blame Sullivan, Gold and Brady
Our club is facing a major existential crisis.

The owners have transferred us to a massive new stadium but have not made the necessary investment in the team to ensure it will be filled.

The parallels with City are striking. They moved to the Commonwealth Games stadium in 2003 and played in a half empty stadium for a few years. The football they served up couldn't fill 55,000 seats. Then the Abu Dhabi royal family came in and made them a super club, buying a whole new team. They don't have trouble filing it now.

We have a decent mid table squad and a good manager. If we had stayed at UP everything would be fine. But in that massive stadium we can't survive like this.

If we continue to struggle in the league that stadium will be like a library most weeks - half empty and a sad sight for those of us brought up on the charged atmosphere of UP. We will be laughed at by the rest of the football world, who will take great delight at the huge mistake our owners have made.

In fact neutral commentators are already saying this in the media - I saw Cascarino wrote something along these lines in his Sunday column.

Or the idiot owners we have sell to a very wealthy new owner who does a PSG on us and buys a whole new team to compete not just for tthe Premier League but for the CL.

My own guess is that we will be in crisis for a few years and then S&G will sell to a Chinese or Russian and we will be challenging for the title within ten years - but of course with a very different feel to the club which some will not like.

Re: Take no blame Sullivan, Gold and Brady
Does ANYONE actually believe a word that comes out of the club about anything anymore ?

It's always someone else's fault, they never do anything wrong

They abdicate responsibility left right and centre

Take ownership of the current issues, stop passing the buck and instead of alienating the supporters, back them.

It's not bleeding hard

It's like football management

Back your players publicly, castigate and reprimand privately.

This lot wallow in the constant trickle of threats and abuse to their own

It's bloody ridiculous and is certainly NOT a sustainable model.

The sooner they leave the better in my book

West Ham have asked E20, which owns the club's London Stadium home, to ensure there is a police presence in the ground after recent trouble.

The Hammers moved to the venue at the start of the season, but there have been unsavoury incidents involving their fans at the past three matches.

The club confirmed that 10 fans were ejected from the stadium during the 4-2 defeat by Watford on Saturday.

West Ham have also requested more experienced stewards.

Stewarding at the stadium is provided by LS185.

At the first Premier League match at the venue - against Bournemouth last month - some fans arrived with tickets for seats that did not exist, while fighting broke out between rival supporters outside the stadium.

Some of the disturbances are believed to be over persistent standing during matches and West Ham confirmed they had received seven complaints about standing following Saturday's game against Watford.

"E20 confirmed that immediate action is being taken on the issues raised," said a West Ham club statement.

"The club will work tirelessly with them to ensure London Stadium continues to be the inclusive and family-friendly environment that all parties have worked so hard to achieve.

"This includes a more robust and secure line of segregation between the home and visiting fans as specified by the club. We have been assured this will be in place ahead of the next match."

The Hammers have also appealed to supporters to report any incidents to the club.

Analysis - BBC sports editor Dan Roan:

"A blame game is now developing over the violent scenes at West Ham's new home.

"The club says the stadium's owners and matchday operator need to bolster policing, stewarding & segregation.

"However, it has also been suggested that West Ham could have done more to plan segregated family and singing sections, rather than prioritising the sale of season tickets, with the mix of traditional supporters and thousands of new fans thought to have led to tension."

I dont know if its been said, that westham have to ask the police to come into the ground,if we do we have to pay them, the stewards cant touch you its common assault if they do. gold and sullivan have got to pay for the police before someone dies, i believe someone will get pushed off one of the bridges.trouble with bournemouth, and watford fans ,what a joke, our kids getting hit, and westham fans fight each other, what have we become,

Not sure what the problem is. The violence is terrifying the new breed plastics to the point they'll soon fuck off back to 'Twickers'.

In fact if it wasn't for the result, yesterday would have been perfect.

they have done a good job and they have put us on the right path within their limited means. Now its time for them to cash in and let some serious money come in change the stadium and buy the best players.

Re: Take no blame Sullivan, Gold and Brady
I believe Brady sees Arsenal as the model to emulate. A club selling tickets for silly money packed with prawn sandwich brigade and influential people she can schmooze with, sold out, a team playing fairly attractive football and qualifying for the money league every year without spending bugger all.
Success to her is all about business success and not about the human element, trophies, winning derby games and raw passion involved.
We got a very good deal for the stadium and I still think it's the right move in the long run but the club has been rather crafty and deviant on selling it to supporters.

Whilst I respect Brady for the job she is doing in making West Ham a lean and financially successful business after the utter car crash of a mess it was left in, she will never get what the club really means. I do think DS and DG get it but DG is really just taking a back seat and seeing out his days and DS can be impulsive and a loose cannon.

Re: Take no blame Sullivan, Gold and Brady
I have only been to 1 game at the new stadium and to be frank I was not impressed and I probably won't be making another trip down anytime soon. But if say BGS got an offer for us they couldn't refuse could the stadium be brought out and the stadium be knocked down or made into a purpose built football stadium.
We all know how Upton Park used to be like and it's still very raw for a vast majority of our "loyal" fan Base. But the day trippers or false claims from the board are obviously ruining the match day for everyone it seems like the true fans a fighting a loosing battle with the club.
I for one am not saying people who sit or stand are not loyal as In areas of the boylen I have sat in order to respect the people around me. But I love standing and I find the best atmosphere is in with the standing crowd, when we moved in remember Brady saying the east stand is going to be like our "kop" end where the atmosphere will be generated.
